Parents Sue Grandparents For Wrongful Dealth of Grandson In Fire

The Star Tribune reports today that the parents of a boy killed in a fire are suing his grandparents for wrongful death in Washington County.

Apparently the grandparents were watching the 5-year-old when the fire started last April. The boy was killed in the fire and the grandfather was "severely burned" in the fire. The grandmother escaped without harm.

The parents are suing, saying that the grandparents failed to properly extinguish the fire and rescue the boy.

This just seems like it's adding insult to injury, so to speak, to me (assuming it's not a tactic to get money from insurance). I'm sure there's probably another side to the story, although for the life of me I don't see it at the moment.
